Permanent7 On / 7 Off Schedule Overview:* Opportunity to join a Level III Trauma Center as an inpatient Orthopedic Surgeon* Focus on orthopedic trauma and acute inpatient orthopedic care* Manage acute musculoskeletal injuries, complex fractures, open fractures, joint dislocations, ligament injuries, and postoperative care* Participate in trauma rounds and multidisciplinary care planning* Da Vinci Xi robotic platform available* 7 on / 7 off schedule* 14 shifts per month* 12 hours onsite with 12 hours of call coverage* Onsite medical imaging and pharmacy services* EPIC EMR* Regional referral center serving a large multi-county service area* Collaborative trauma and orthopedic care team--- Comp/Benefits:* Base salary of $662,000* Additional compensation for extra shifts* $150,000 recruitment incentive* Relocation assistance up to $15,000* CME allowance of $6,000* 34 days PTO* Benefits effective on day one* Paid malpractice with tail coverage* 403(b) retirement plan with employer match* 457(b) retirement plan available* Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits--- Group/Facility Info:* 346-bed regional referral hospital* Level III Trauma Center* More than 300 employed physicians and providers* Serves more than 400,000 patients annually* Teaching institution with multiple residency and fellowship programs* Extensive orthopedic, trauma, surgical, and specialty support services* Regional healthcare network serving northern Iowa and southern Minnesota* Strong emergency medicine and trauma infrastructure-- About the Area:Mason City offers an outstanding quality of life with a low cost of living, excellent schools, and short commute times.
