A hospital is seeking a Board Certified Otolaryngologist (ENT) for locum tenens coverage supporting trauma, surgical, and clinic services.$325/hr regular hours24 call $2300Night call $400Call back $350/hrPosition DetailsSpecialty: Otolaryngology (ENT)Practice Setting: Hospital and Outpatient ClinicCoverage Type: Locum Tenens (Part-Time)Start Date: April 27, 2026Duration: OngoingSchedule10-day stretch per monthTypical coverage:Saturday start through the following Tuesday (10 consecutive days)Alternative schedule may include Friday start through MondayWeekday schedule:8:00 AM 4:30 PM: Clinic and hospital rounding4:30 PM 8:00 AM: CallWeekend schedule:24-hour call coverageClinical ResponsibilitiesOutpatient clinic (approx. 20 patients per day)Inpatient rounding and consultsSurgical casesTrauma call coveragePatient Volume 20 outpatient visits per day 3 consults per dayWeekend consults: 24Procedures / Case MixRoutine ENT procedures including:Endoscopic sinus surgeryTonsillectomy and adenoidectomyMyringotomy with tubes (BMT)ThyroidectomyMicrolaryngoscopy with biopsyTracheostomyTrauma and facial procedures including:Facial platingSoft tissue repairMandible arch barsAdditional responsibilities include airway management and tracheotomyPractice EnvironmentProvider may work soloSupport staff includes APP support in clinicHospital setting:Level III trauma center 400-bed hospital (300 beds in use)Patient mix:70% adult / 30% pediatricEMR: EpicCredentialingEstimated timeframe: 90 daysTravelAirfare (economy)Lodging (up to $175/night)Rental carMileage reimbursed at IRS standard rateCompensationStructured rates applyRequirementsBoard Certified requiredPennsylvania license required (IMLC accepted)Minimum 5 years of experience requiredACLS and BLS requiredDEA requiredMust be able to perform tracheotomy requiredExperience with oral maxillofacial and facial trauma procedures requiredMust be able to work 10 consecutive days per month requiredAbout WhiteCoat Locums:- Physician owned and led agency- Highest-Pay rates on the market- $1m/3m malpractice insurance and tail- 100% transparency
