Job description
Seeking BE/BC Pathologist to join talented team in Bakersfield, CA.
New grads welcome!
After hours and weekend call required, however that is usually very little to nothing.
No autopsies
Team of 2 other pathologists
Yearly volume is approximately per pathologist
Community hospital-based practice with supportive medical staff
Broad mix of surgical pathology, cytology, and clinical pathology
Subspecialty training or experience in breast and gynecological pathology and on site FNA of thyroid evaluation are preferred but not required
Immunohistochemistry available
Reasonable workload and collegial practice environment
Excellent quality of life with lower cost of living compared with coastal California cities
