Job DescriptionGeneral Summary \ NProvides pathology services;
assists in the supervision and direction of activities relating to the Laboratory in accordance with accepted national standards and policies of the Hospital. Acts in the capacity of the Chief Pathologist in his absence.

\ N Full Time position serving a community hospital with a broad case mix
\ N BC/BE in AP/CP Pathology required - Fellowship training in any subspecialty is welcome;
interest/experience in Hematopathology a plus

Minimum Education:
\ N Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required or
\ N Doctor of Medicine (MD)Required
\ N Licenses:
\ N Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
\ N Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required
\ N Courses and Training:
\ N Diplomate of the American Board of Pathology or the American Osteopathic Board of Pathology. Upon Hire Required and
\ N Completion of a Pathology residency. Upon Hire Required and
\ N Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of Gettysburg Hospital. Upon Hire Required
