Job description
Job DescriptionPathlink is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cytopathologist to join our team on a full time basis. The ideal candidate will provide diagnostic interpretation of cytology specimens and collaborate closely with clinicians to support high-quality patient care.
\ NKey Responsibilities:
\ N Examine andinterpret cytology specimens including gynecologic and non-gynecologic samples.
\ N Perform adequacy assessments for fine needle aspiration (FNA) procedures when required.
\ N Render accurate and timely diagnostic reports.
\ N Correlate cytologic findings with clinical and histologic data.
\ N Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities.
\ N Communicate results and consult with referring physicians as needed.
\ N Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
\ N Qualifications:
\ N MD or DO with board certification or board eligibility in Anatomic Pathology and/or Cytopathology.
\ N Active NJ state medical license.
\ N Strong diagnosticand communication skills.
\ N Employment Details:
\ N Full time Monday to Friday 9a-5p
