Pathology Physician Opportunity Nebraska
Why Were Looking Adding a second full-time pathologist to form a two-physician pathology team Provides laboratory leadership and general pathology coverage across two hospitals Position Overview Specialty: Pathology Case Mix / Volume: Inpatient volumes slightly lower than outpatient Operational Expectation: Workflows structured to meet around-the-clock diagnostic turnaround times Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Laboratory Systems: APLIS (WSI platform) Services: In-house molecular pathology and advanced testing capabilities Clinical Collaboration: Close communication with surgeons and oncologists; participation in tumor boards Technology: Whole slide scanners and telepathology platforms Call: Shared pathology call rotation Reporting to: Dr. Wedel (Medical Director), Terri Brown (Director) Requirements Doctor of Medicine (MD or equivalent) Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anat
