Locum Tenens Opportunity: Pathology Physician Near Tipton, PA We are currently seeking a qualified Pathology Physician for locum tenens coverage near Tipton, PA. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to both outpatient and inpatient settings in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Details:
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Call Requirements: None
Caseload: 25-35 surgical cases per day
Optional additional 10 cytologies
Optional 3 to 10 bone marrow and flow cytometry cases per day
Not responsible for blood bank or grossing own specimens
No cutting frozen sections on the cryostat
Patient Interaction: No involvement with residents in surgical cases
Staff Support:
Physicians: 2 physicians on-site alongside locums
Histotechnologists: 8
Pathology Assistants: 1
Cytotechnologists: 2
Certifications Required:
Board Certification: Required; fellowship preferred
State License: Pennsylvania
Laboratory Certifications: CLIA, CAP, PA State, FDA, AABB
