Job description
An established regional hospital in South Central Pennsylvania, 2 hours east of Pittsburgh is seeking a BE/BC AP/CP Pathologist to join its community-based pathology team.
Position Highlights:
Join a 2-pathologist team supporting a busy regional hospital
13,000+ surgical pathology cases and 3,000 non-gynecologic cytopathology specimens annually
Hospital serves a 350 000 primary service area and an 18-county secondary/tertiary service area of 1 million
Level II Trauma Center and regional center for cardiology, cardiac & vascular surgery, and cancer care
Thrombectomy-capable stroke center with endovascular neurology/neuro-intervention and neurosurgery
Additional services include behavioral health, vascular & wound care, OB and pediatrics
Specialty pathology consultations available through an academic-affiliated pathology program
Access to sophisticated immunohistochemistry, imaging and molecular pathology services
Night and weekend call equally shared
Option for a Clinical Academic appointment
