Job DescriptionSeeking a BE/BC Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to join our academic, collaborative team in western West Virginia.\ N

Full-time position
\ N Candidate will take thelead in developing the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Department for the Pediatric Hospital
\ N $30 Million Pediatric Hospital\ N 35+ bed Level III NICU
\ N 25-bed General Pediatrics Inpatient Unit
\ N 10-bed PICU and a Neonatal Therapeutic Unit
\ N
Pediatric Hospital has 35 Full Time Physicians with Full Complement of Pediatric Sub-Specialists
\ N Recently remodeled Emergency Department with the creation of a separate 8-bed pod and waiting area for pediatric emergency patients
\ N The ED averages 11,000 pediatric patients per year serving a 29-county area
\ N Medical School offers training in 10 residency and 14 fellowship programs with over 250 residents / fellows on campus working alongside 400 providers in 75 areas of primary and specialty care
\ N Residency programs in both Pediatrics and Internal Medicine/ Pediatrics and fellowship programs in Pediatric Hospital Medicine and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
\ N Academic appointment commensurate with experience and training
