Job Description\ N A reputable non-profit hospital in central Maine is adding a Pediatric Hospitalist. You will be part of a team of dedicated physicians who will contribute to the well-being of our patients in a supportive and collaborative environment.
\ N About the Position:
\ N Your choice of either 10 night shifts per month or 13-day shifts per month
\ N Provide care for well-newborns, Level II NICU and delivery attendance, pediatric inpatients, and emergency department consults
\ N State-of-the-art 190-bed facility
\ N 12 or 24-hour shifts available.
\ N In-house support from OBs, midwives, anesthesia, emergency medicine, and family medicine
\ N Pediatric subspecialty/NICU/PICU support available by phone
\ N Teaching responsibilities
\ N Average daily census of4-6 patients
