WVUHS Medical Group seeks a Pediatrician at Children'sMedical Group of Cumberland with Garrett Regional Medical Center.The successful candidate will be expected to practice in theprimary location of Cumberland, Maryland.
Duties:
The successful candidate will practice in the areaof Pediatrics
Qualifications:
Applicants must have an MD or DO degree orforeign equivalent and be eligible to obtain state medicallicense. Successful Candidate must have completed a Pediatricresidency program. Successful Candidate must have boardcertified/eligible in Pediatrics. All qualifications must be met atthe time of appointment.
Garrett Regional Medical Center is a 55-bed, acute carehospital that operates as anon-profit healthcarefacility and is part of the WVU Medicine network.It isJoint Commission–accredited and Medicare-certified, indicating that it meets national standards for healthcare quality and patient safety.Because Garrett County is sparsely populated and mountainous, GRMC functions as acriticalaccess point foremergencyand routine care , often serving patients who would otherwise need to travel long distances fortreatment.
