Job Reference ID: Location: Los Banos, California Facility Type: Community Clinic & Affiliated Hospital Start Date: 7/6/2026 Length of Assignment: Direct Hire Schedule: Flexible clinic schedule combined with hospital call rotations every couple of weeks Call Rotation: Hospital call rotations every couple of weeks (nursery, ER, C-sections) State License Needed: California Medix has partnered with an expanding medical network to secure a dedicated Pediatrician for a combined inpatient/outpatient opportunity. This position allows you to build a thriving outpatient panel while covering rotational hospital floor, newborn nursery, and emergency room pediatric coverage. Essential Responsibilities: Providing full-scope medical care for infants, children, and adolescents, including well-child checks, immunizations, and acute sick visits. Covering the local Emergency Room for pediatric clinical checks. Managing Level I newborn nursery coverage (averaging 800 deliveries per year with an average newborn census of 3-5). Attending emergency C-sections when explicitly requested by the OB team.
