Job DescriptionPediatric Hospitalist Opening in LouisianaLocated in ShreveportFull-Time & PermanentSeeking a BE/BC Pediatrician to join hospital.
Rotation: 7 days on, 7 days off.
Team Structure: 4-physician rotation model.
Day Shifts: In-house floor management and admissions.
Night Shifts: Unrestricted call from home.
Newborn Nursery: Q4 weekend unassigned nursery coverage at one location. Paid unassigned nursery shifts at another location.
Competitive Shift + wRVU compensation on both day and night shifts.
Unassigned Nursery Call compensation. Minimum of 4 days paid unassigned nursery call per month.
24-bed dedicated pediatric inpatient unit.
Modern community health system with robust subspecialty support.
Need current PALS and NRP certifications
Duties: Manage inpatient admissions, daily rounds, and discharges.
Provide expert consultations for emergency department pediatric cases.
Coordinate care plans with primary pediatricians and specialists.
Stabilize and prepare patients requiring transfer to intensive care.
Lead pediatric resuscitation or rapid response protocols if activated.
