Job DescriptionInpatient Child Psychiatrist Opportunity - Kankakee County, Illinois Seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Child Psychiatrist to join a strong network of more than 150 primary care and specialty physicians and advanced practice providers dedicated to delivering remarkable healthcare experiences in Kankakee County, Illinois.Position Details
\ N Inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric care
\ N Full-time direct patient care — minimum 40 hours per week
\ N Comprehensive patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment management
\ N Medical history collection, documentation, and electronic medical record management
\ N Analysis of test results and examination findings to inform diagnosis and treatment
\ N Patient and family education on diagnoses, procedures, and prescribed treatments
\ N Monitoring of patient conditions and reevaluation of treatment plans as needed
\ N Proficiency in Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding
\ N On-call participation during weekdays and weekends as required
Qualifications \ N MD or DO degree
Board certified or board eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
\ N Active or eligible Illinois state medical license
\ N Active or eligible Illinois Controlled Substances license
