Job DescriptionWestern Illinois Pediatric Opening
\ N Clinical Role: \ N Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible (within 5 years of finishing training) pediatrician
\ N Busy practice – current2,000 active patients
\ N 90% outpatient with inpatient responsibilities
\ N Site sees ~30 patients per day in the clinic
\ N Hospital averages 100 admissions per years, totaling about 400 patient days
\ N ~550 births per year
\ N Pediatricians share newborn responsibilities with Family Medicine
\ N Level II Nursery
Join two other pediatricians
\ N Will perform circumcisions
\ N Call is 1:3 - you may be called in to address emergent situations with the neonatal provider, get the patient prepared for a transfer to the NICU - it is possibly ED call coverage, too
\ N Pediatricians are not called for routine c-sections – only higher risk deliveries
\ N RN and MA support
\ N Organization Information: \ N ~110 miles west of Chicago
\ N ~70 miles from Rockford

\ N $258,000 - $322,000 salary plus production-based bonus potential
