Job description
An exciting opportunity awaits a passionate and dedicated Pediatrician near BROOKFIELD GA. We are seeking a motivated individual to join a thriving practice consisting of a solo pediatrician within a group of 8 total providers. This position offers a unique and supportive environment to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of the community.
The successful candidate will benefit from a strong referral base from obstetricians, ensuring a steady stream of patients. The office operates Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, with no weekend clinic hours. The call schedule is a manageable 1:2, shared with a Family Practice physician in town, resulting in very light call duty, with some days having minimal to no calls.
Patient care is a priority, and the incoming Pediatrician can expect to see approximately 20-25 patients per day. Admissions are made to Bacon County Hospital, with responsibilities including newborn rounding and coverage of emergency C&D only at the request of obstetricians, a rare occurrence. The facility has a Level I Nursery, contributing to 180 annual deliveries, and boasts a Level III NICU.

Work-life balance is a priority, and the Pediatrician will enjoy 20 days of paid time off, along with 5 days for Continuing Medical Education (CME) with a stipend. The practice will cover DEA, NPI, and State Licensure expenses, and student loan repayment options are available through the State.
