Job description
An exciting opportunity awaits a passionate and dedicated Pediatrician near BROOKFIELD GA. We are seeking a motivated individual to join a thriving practice consisting of a solo pediatrician within a group of 8 total providers. This position offers a unique and supportive environment to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of the community. The successful candidate will benefit from a strong referral base from obstetricians, ensuring a steady stream of patients. The office operates Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, with no weekend clinic hours. The call schedule is a manageable 1:2, shared with a Family Practice physician in town, resulting in very light call duty, with some days having minimal to no calls. Patient care is a priority, and the incoming Pediatrician can expect to see approximately 20-25 patients per day. Admissions are made to Bacon County Hospital, with responsibilities including newborn rounding and coverage of emergency C&D only at the request of obstetricians, a rare occurrence. The facility has a Level I Nursery, contributing to 180 annual deliveries, and boasts a Level III NICU. In addition to a rewarding work environment, the compensation and benefits package for this position is competitive and comprehensive. The practice will cover DEA, NPI, and State Licensure expenses, and student loan repayment options are available through the State.
