Pediatric hospitalist role 5-on / 10-off block schedule Rounding on pediatric patients and newborns with two other pediatricians Level II nursery coverage About 800 deliveries per year Round and go model 15-minute response time during the 24-hour shift Must have or obtain NRP certification Must respond to emergency high-risk deliveries 165-bed, not-for-profit regional hospital East central Illinois Nearby attractions include Kickapoo State Recreation Area, Kennekuk County Park, Lake Vermilion, trails, canoeing, hiking, and fishing About 35 miles from Champaign and about 128 miles from Chicago
