Lewiston, Maine: We invite a confident Pediatrician to join a large, well-established private practice in Maines second largest city, just 40 minutes from Portland. This respected group provides comprehensive outpatient care for infants through adolescents and young adults in a modern, fully equipped, child-friendly facility.This is a full-time, outpatient-only role in a practice that dominates the regional pediatric market and offers strong provider support, excellent continuity of care, and a stable, team-oriented environment.You will join an experienced clinical team including four full-time Pediatricians and a large group of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants supporting primary care, walk-in services, and behavioral health.Position HighlightsFull-time outpatient pediatric practice no inpatient responsibilitiesConvenient 4 day/week schedule with a rotating day offAverage patient volume: 15 visits per day Phone-only call is shared (1 night/week, 1:5 weekends)Nurse triage and answering service provide two levels of screeningPractice environment is stable, efficient, and not production-driven NEW GRADS WELCOME strong support for early-career physicians Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary: $200,000$225,000 to start based on experienceIncome is not based on RVUs or productivity Four weeks of earned time (vacation/sick) plus paid holidaysHealth, dental, vision, and life insurance One week of CME provided with a $2,000 annual expense allowance Additional benefits through UNUM options Maine ranks among the very best places to live: Best Quality of Life, Safest State, Climate Safe Haven, and for Air Quality in the USA.Lewiston and neighboring Auburn are home to over 120,000 residents in Maines Lakes and Mountains region.
