Quick Facts Location: Salem, Massachusetts Start Date: 11/30/2026 End Date: 05/03/2027 Schedule: Weekdays, 8:00 am 5:00 pm; Night shift option 19 00 Shift: 5x8s Hours/week: 40 Employment Type: Temporary/Contract Licensure: MA license required Certifications: BLS, DEA, Board Certification in Psychiatry Experience: 1+ year of relevant experience Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $257.24 Benefits: Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), weekly pay schedule via direct deposit, robust referral bonus program, licensure and travel reimbursements, paid sick time, and more. What You ll Do Provide inpatient psychiatric care for patients aged 3-18 experiencing issues such as depression, PTSD, personality disorders, and behavioral challenges. Conduct rounds on the inpatient floor during your scheduled shift. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including one MD and two NPs. Manage patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans. Document care using Epic EMR software. Support the unit through patient management, safety protocols, and discharge planning. What You Need Valid Massachusetts medical license Board certification in Psychiatry DEA certification BLS certification Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience Strong clinical skills in inpatient pediatric mental health About the Assignment This inpatient psychiatry role is based in a dedicated unit caring for children and adolescents with mental health conditions. The facility values high-quality, compassionate care delivered in a collaborative environment. Rounding on the inpatient floor during your shift, you will be integral to patient recovery and stabilization.
