Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery - Locum Tenens (Near Balch Springs, TX) - ASAP - OngoingAre you a board-certified Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgeon seeking a challenging and rewarding locum tenens opportunity in a vibrant Texas community near Balch Springs? If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy collaborating with a dedicated team to provide exceptional care for children, we have the perfect opportunity for you!About the OpportunityWe are actively seeking a highly motivated Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgeon to join our team on a locum tenens basis. You will play a vital role in supporting our pediatric cardiac surgery program, ensuring the highest quality care for our young patients. This locum tenens position offers the flexibility of working for one week in June and one week in September.Responsibilities Provide consultative services to the pediatric cardiac program. Participate in patient rounds with the team. Be available to respond to surgical emergencies, including ECMO placement. Collaborate effectively with nurses, technicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in the Meditech EMR system.Qualifications Board certified in Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery. Current Texas medical license with active DEA registration. ACLS and BLS certification required. Experience with ECMO is mandatory. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
