Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Program Director Opportunity near Clarksville, FLA private practice near Clarksville, FL is seeking a highly qualified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Program Director to join their team. This role entails overseeing the PM&R program, combining administrative duties with diagnostic responsibilities and educational leadership. If you're a Board Certified PM&R physician with a passion for education and administration, this opportunity could be ideal for you.Qualifications and Responsibilities: Board Certification: Candidates must be Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation to be considered for this role, ensuring they meet the highest standards of clinical competency. Educational and Administrative Experience: The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years of educational and/or administrative experience in the field of PM&R. This experience will be crucial in effectively leading and developing the program. GME Administrative Experience: Prior to appointment, candidates should have at least 3 years of Graduate Medical Education (GME) administrative experience. This background will provide the necessary foundation for overseeing educational initiatives within the program. Combination of Responsibilities: The Program Director will be expected to balance administrative tasks with diagnostic responsibilities and teaching duties. This includes supervising and mentoring residents and fellows, as well as collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Strong Administrative and Team Building Skills: Successful candidates will demonstrate strong administrative skills, including strategic planning, budget management, and program development. Additionally, the ability to build and lead a cohesive team is essential for fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment. Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills are critical for establishing positive relationships with colleagues, staff, patients, and stakeholders. The Program Director must be able to communicate effectively and collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
