Overview

Concentra is now hiring an experienced and self-driven onsite physician for a PRN position. This role will provide healthcare support at our onsite healthcare clinic located at our client's site in Montgomery County, MD.

Coverage as needed for the following schedule: Four 10 hours day Monday-Friday between the hours of 7AM-7PM

Pay range: $125-130/hr

We are looking to hire a BC/BE physician who will work as a staff physician at our onsite medical center.

At our Concentra onsites the focus is on quality of care rather than on patient volume.

You will have an opportunity to design, develop, and implement various health and wellness programs in order to screen for disease and practice primary prevention.

Our onsite centers are only open to our employer partner's employees and sometimes their dependents. You will have the opportunity to develop long standing relationships with this patient population, build their trust, and truly help influence their health and wellbeing.

You will have the ability to integrate health coaches, employer sponsored disease management programs, and other onsite staff into the treatment model in order to ensure that patients get all the help they need on their journey towards a healthy lifestyle.

You will have access to clinical best practices and our Medical Expert Panel recommendations.

We offer a state of the art EMR to assist you in your documentation.

This is an opportunity to practice medicine as you envisioned it without having to complete all of the paperwork required by payers in the community practice setting.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Warm and welcoming clinic environment.

Medical support staff to assist in the day to day operation.

Responsibilities Performs medical assessment of client patients

Establishes and monitors a medically appropriate level of care for patients

Maintains clinical core competency

Assures compliance with licensing, certification and accrediting bodies

Provides guidance to other medical staff to ensure Concentra's mission is achieved.

Provides an excellent, compassionate and warm patient experience regardless of patient volume

Ability to manage time, prioritize and multi-task in a busy environment

Qualifications

Qualifications Current unrestricted medical license in state of jurisdiction as required for clinical and/or business duties

Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction

Medical degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from accredited institution

Ability to supervise, evaluate, coach, and develop staff

Must be a team player in a multidisciplinary environment
