Job Title
This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT and will remain open until September 30, 2026. The initial cut-off date for referral of eligible applications will be August 31, 2026, with subsequent cut-off dates every 2 weeks. Clinical:
Evaluation and management of patients both face-to-face and by telehealth. The incumbent will be responsible for evaluation of patients in outpatient mental health clinics. The incumbent may also supervise trainees, including medical students and residents, in all of these settings.
Practices safety, environmental, and/or infection control methods. Instructs other personnel assigned to health care team on preventive medicine programs and other appropriate medical activities and functions.
Administrative:
Provide oversight and leadership for the clinical functions of staff and trainees associated with their treatment teams, including RNPs and clinical pharmacists.
Serve in hospital or service level committees such as Medication Management Committee or Pain Committee.
Supports and enhances VAPAHCS philosophy and goals.
Responsible for ensuring Research outcome studies are routinely conducted according to VAPAHCS policies and procedures.
