Adult Forensic Outpatient Psychiatrist Locum Tenens Job California Bay AreaJoin a well established behavioral health team serving adults involved in diversion and probation programs in the California Bay Area. This full time outpatient opportunity offers a meaningful patient population, no call responsibilities, and long term assignment potential.Position Highlights: Full time, ongoing need Start as soon as credentialed Adult outpatient forensic behavioral health setting Treat patients on diversion and probation with mental health and substance use disorders Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (client is open to 4 10's) 100% onsite position No call 60 minute initial evaluations 30 minute medication follow up visits Dedicated administrative time built into each day for documentation Modern electronic health record systemCandidate Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist Experience or training in Addiction Psychiatry required Comfortable working in a forensic outpatient setting Strong EHR proficiencyAssignment Details: Credentialing timeline of 1 to 2 months Client prefers physicians interested in a minimum 6 month commitment Very high likelihood of long-term extensionThe Jackson and Coker Advantage: Join a team that prioritizes your peace of mind so you can focus on patient care.
