Job DescriptionPsychiatry opening in New York - OutpatientLocated in Watertown, NYFull-Time & PermanentSeeking a BE/BC Psychiatrist to join outpatient practice.The behavioral health services include outpatient psychiatry, intensive outpatient addiction services, treatment and counseling to those in need.Details:
\ N Collaborative relationship and easy access to follow up outpatient care.
\ N Seasonal professionals with extensive longevity: 3 BC Psychiatrists, Licensed Practice Nurses, 14 clinicians: LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-R, Psy D
\ N Approximately 2,300 clients served annually with an average 1,600 appointments monthly.
\ N Call is 1:4
\ N Expanding to 12 ED beds
\ N Recent significant renovations have occurred to provide a modernized healing environment.
\ N Inpatient Mental HealthUnit (IMHU) is a 32-bed unit on the main campus and is certified and licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health.
\ N Most common admitting diagnoses are: PTSD, psychotic disorder, bipolar disorder, personality disorder and co-occurring substance abuse disorders.
\ N Medical H&Ps and medical support provided by Hospitalist service.
\ N Catchment population: 250,000
\ N Serving the military soldiers and their families from nearby Fort Drum, home to the 10th Mountain Army Division.
\ N The military populationaverages up to 40% of the IMHU admissions.
\ N Teaching opportunities are extended with accredited ACGME/AOA family medicine and internal medicine residency training programs
Compensation:
\ N Annual salary: $320,000, plus a WRVU productivity model
\ N Signing bonus: $50,000
\ N Education Loan repayment: $20,000 each year
\ N Relocation reimbursement: $10,000
\ N 4-year contract
