Job DescriptionPsychiatry Medical Director Opening Louisville, TNKnoxville 15mFull TimePermanent PositionSeeking BC/BE Psychiatrist to serve as Medical Director for inpatient psychiatric hospital near Knoxville, TennesseePosition Highlights:- Inpatient-only psychiatric practice- Monday through Friday schedule- Leadership role overseeing clinical operations and program development- Established behavioral health program serving adolescents and adults- Planned expansion to include younger children’s services- Multidisciplinary team including physicians, APPs, therapists, and discharge planners- Integrated inpatient and outpatient care coordinationResponsibilities:- Provide inpatient psychiatric care- Lead clinical team and oversee program quality and outcomes- Develop and implement treatment protocols and initiatives- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team- Support continuity of care with outpatient servicesQualifications:- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry- Leadership experience preferred- Active Tennessee license or ability to obtainCompensation & Benefits:- Competitive compensation package- Employed position- Medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits- Paid time off- Paid malpractice insurance
