UNC Health Blue Ridge is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join our inpatient behavioral health team in Morganton, North Carolina.
With a 7-on/7-off schedule, dedicated APP support, and an established 22-bed inpatient psychiatric unit , this opportunity offers the professional fulfillment of caring for patients when they need you most, paired with a schedule that creates meaningful time away from work.

7-on/7-off schedule: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
22-bed inpatient psychiatric unit with an average census of approximately 18 patients
APP support to help provide high-quality, team-based care
Manageable call schedule
Hospital-employed position through Blue Ridge Medical Group

What We’re Looking For
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
Two to five years of experience preferred, although new graduates are encouraged to apply
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
Commitment to compassionate, evidence-based behavioral healthcare
