A well-established healthcare organization in south-central Alaska is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join its inpatient behavioral health team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a psychiatrist looking for a hospital-employed position with flexible scheduling, strong APP support, and the option to take on a Medical Director role . The position is primarily adult-focused, with occasional adolescent patients.
* Hospital-employed psychiatry position
* Inpatient behavioral health
* Primarily adult patient population with occasional adolescents
* Choice of schedule:
* 7 days on / 7 days off , or
* Monday through Friday
* Supported by three advanced practice providers
* Inpatient-focused role with plans to expand outpatient services
* Medical Director opportunity available , if desired
* Experienced psychiatrists and new graduates are encouraged to apply
