Facility:
This well-established medical center is a Level 1 Trauma Center that houses a comprehensive Behavioral Health Division providing a spectrum of care for both children and adults. The facility features a 44-bed adult inpatient psychiatric unit and a 16-bed child and adolescent inpatient unit, supported by a large multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychotherapists, and clinical assistants.

Physician - Psychiatry
Job Details:
Full-time, in-person 1.0 FTE position with a 14 on/14 off rotation schedule
7-day service coverage model with hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Overnight and weekend call shared among physician pool, averaging once per week while on service
Provide telehealth services to critical access hospitals in the surrounding area
Manage care of psychiatric patients in the emergency department, including leading care rounds, triage, and evaluation
Provide consultation services to a Level 1 Trauma Center
Join a collaborative team of 16 adult and 5 child and adolescent psychiatrists
Work alongside doctoral level psychologists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychotherapists, RNs, and clinical assistants
Participate in a broad spectrum of behavioral health services including inpatient psychiatric care, consult-liaison, emergency psychiatry, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization services, and outpatient behavioral health clinic
Collaborate with an integrated pharmacist team including a Hospitalist and Pharmacist
Interest in ECT procedures is a plus as the program aims to restart services
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry required
