Job DescriptionSeeking a Fellowship trained, BC/BE Geriatric Psychiatrist to join a growing Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine in Greenville, NC. \ N
Highlights: \ N
Full-time,employed position
\ N The successful candidate will join a growing academic division with a full-time tenure track appointment at the rank of professor or associate professor
\ N Clinical assistant or clinical associate professor fixed term appointments are also available
\ N Provide direct clinicalcare in both the inpatient and outpatient settings
\ N Responsibilities will also include teaching and clinical supervision of medical students, residents, and other health professional trainees and clinical research
\ N Growing 9-hospital physician led healthcare system
\ N State-of-the-art Behavioral Health facility to open in the fall of 2025
\ N Inpatient clinical responsibilities will be for consults only on the current 50+ bed inpatient behavioral health unit
\ N Outpatient clinical responsibilities will include seeing patients at the outpatient clinic and the Geriatric Center
\ N Monday-Friday 8a – 5p schedule
\ N Excellent blend of clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activities
\ N Work with growing, multi-disciplinary, and collegial department
\ N Salary and academic rank (tenure track or fixed term) commensurate with experience and academic background
