Position OverviewA VA-affiliated outpatient clinic in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to provide ongoing locum coverage. This role focuses on comprehensive behavioral health care for adult military veterans in a structured outpatient setting. The site is actively recruiting for a permanent provider, and you'll work with an established team including primary care providers, RN's, and MA's. Responsibilities include diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, counseling (individual, group, family/marriage), medication management, case management, clinical documentation, and coordination with VA and community services. The provider will help enhance patient wellness, support health education, maintain compliance standards, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
