Job description
Adelphi is seeking an experienced Inpatient Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric care to adult patients with dual diagnoses in a residential setting in Kerr County, Texas. The ideal candidate will conduct evaluations, deliver treatment, and provide emergency psychiatric services in compliance with state and regulatory guidelines. Job Quick Facts Ref #: BD-673-62 Profession: Physician Specialty: Psychiatry Job Type: Contract (Full-Time) Contract Length: 6 months with option to extend Location: Kerr County, Texas Service Setting: Inpatient / Residential (Not outpatient) Coverage Type: On site preferred.( 25% on site pending leadership approval) Schedule: 40 hours per week Shift Options: MondayFriday; 8AM5PM - No after hours or weekend call. Start Date: Immediate (pending completion of clearance requirements) Requirements Must be a Licensed Physician in the State of Texas Active, unrestricted Texas Medical License from the Texas Medical Board with no sanctions Active DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) certification Must be credentialed with hospitals utilized by the facility Current CPR certification (American Heart Association approved) Must complete all credentialing and clearance requirements prior to start All certifications must remain active throughout the assignment Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including psychiatric assessments, evaluations, and treatment Conduct face-to-face evaluations and ongoing patient monitoring Work with adult patients with dual diagnoses in a residential (inpatient)
