Quick Facts: Location: 2190 East Mesquite Avenue, Pahrump, NV 89060 Start Date: 09/28/2026 End Date / Duration: 1/23/2027 Shift: 40 hours/week, various shifts (including possible rounds in confined areas) Employment Type: Contract Licenses/Certifications: Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Psychologist Experience: Prior experience in clinical or correctional settings preferred Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $120.00/hr Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements as applicable What You ll Do: Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on clinical interviews and available records Collaborate with a multidisciplinary mental health team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans for inmates Make rounds in segregation or confined housing units to evaluate mental health needs and inmate adjustment Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and mental health support tailored to individual needs Gather pertinent information through consultations to understand behavioral escalations and mental health changes Participate in team discussions to ensure quality care and proper follow-through What You Need: Active or eligible license as a Psychologist in Nevada or appropriate licensing jurisdiction Experience with mental health assessments, counseling, or correctional mental health settings preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to perform all duties with professionalism and compassion About the Assignment: Join a leading facility in Pahrump, NV, dedicated to providing high-quality mental health services in a correctional environment.
