Job DescriptionPulmonary/Critical Care opening in Norton, VA - Visa EligibleLocated in Norton, VA - Kingsport 60m; Knoxville 130mFull-time; PermanentEmployedJ1 & H1B Visa Sponsorship Available Overview:* Opportunity to join a growing Pulmonary/Critical Care service line* Mix of pulmonary, critical care, and Black Lung Clinic responsibilities* Participate in one of the nation’s busiest Black Lung Clinics* On-the-job training provided for Black Lung disease management* Opportunity to expand procedural and clinical skill set* Access to new ION Bronchoscopy technology* Pulmonary practice includes outpatient clinic, ICU consults, and procedural work* Average outpatient clinic volume approximately 20 patients daily* Average Black Lung clinic volume approximately 5-6 patients daily* Opportunity to work with and teach Internal Medicine residents* Potential research opportunities and future program growth* Procedures include arterial line placement and bronchoscopies* Critical Care and EBUS experience preferred--- Comp/Benefits:* Guaranteed base salary* Sign-on bonus* Relocation assistance* Annual CME allowance* Full medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits* 403(b) or 401(k) retirement plan--- Group/Facility Info:* Growing Pulmonary/Critical Care program* 129-bed community hospital within integrated regional health system* Strong support staff and collaborative environment* Residency teaching opportunities with Internal and Family Medicine programs* Advanced bronchoscopy technology available* Comprehensive specialty support including cardiology, orthopedics, OB/GYN, rehab services, and pulmonary rehabilitation* Large integrated healthcare network serving Southwest Virginia and surrounding regions-- About the Area:Norton, Virginia offers a scenic mountain lifestyle with abundant outdoor recreation and a strong sense of community.
