Job description
Board Certified or Board Eligible Pulmonologist Full-time employed position Mix of inpatient and outpatient pulmonary care Join team of 2 pulmonologists, 1 pulmonary and sleep physician, and intensivists Provide services across main and south hospital campuses in a regional Level 3 trauma center Opportunities to support ICU and CCU in collaboration with on site intensivists Perform routine pulmonary procedures with ability to adopt new technologies as implemented Shared rotational call within a collegial pulmonary group EPIC electronic medical record system Competitive compensation including salary, full benefits, relocation assistance, and student loan assistance Teaching opportunities with family medicine residents and medical students Not for profit health system employment with Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligibility J 1 visa sponsorship available MD or DO; completion of pulmonary or pulmonary and critical care fellowship; eligibility for Mississippi medical license required Located near attractions including Bonita Lakes Park, the Mississippi Arts and Entertainment Experience, and regional historic arts and dining districts Within driving distance of Jackson (about 90 miles) and Birmingham (about 145 miles)
