Breast Imaging only
\ N Flexible 2-4 weeks/month
\ N Daytime 8am-4pm schedule
Assignment Details \ N Start/end: As soon as credentialed;
ongoing
Schedule: 2-3 days/week, 8am-4pm;
2-4 weeks/month
Coverage type: On-site Breast Imaging;
no call
Volume: ~40-50 patients/shift
\ N Setting: Outpatient Breast Radiology
\ N Support: Technologists, nurses, surgeons and oncology teams
\ N PACS: Change Healthcare;
transitioning to Sectra
\ N EMR: Cerner
\ N Credentialing: ~90 days;
no temporary privileges
Clinical Details \ N Required scope: Screening and diagnostic mammography
\ N Required scope: Breast ultrasound and breast MRI
\ N Required scope: Image-guided biopsies, localizations and aspirations
\ N Screening mammography: ~45-55% of workload;
~35-40 per shift
Diagnostics: ~25-35% of workload
\ N Procedures: ~15-25% of workload
\ N Strong knowledge of BI-RADS and MQSA requirements
\ N Must be comfortable with same-day diagnostic workups and direct patient communication
Requirements \ N Board certified Radiologist
\ N Breast Imaging fellowship training required
\ N License: Active MI license required
\ N BLS
