Job DescriptionRadiologist opening in Sioux City, Iowa 90 miles from Omaha;
150 miles from Des MoinesDetails:
\ N Full-time, permanent
\ N J1/H1B sponsorship
Established team of 3 physicians consisting of 2 General Radiologists and 1 Interventional Radiologist
\ N Established practice serving the Sioux City community
\ N Opportunity to practiceGeneral Radiology in an established and well-known hospital
\ N Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences
\ N Experienced staff, bothclinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community
\ N Full-time position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
\ N Fully integrated systemwith clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
Responsibilities:
\ N Average of 80-100 RVUs per day;
no nights or weekends
\ N Practice is a mix of inpatient and outpatient
\ N Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
\ N Specialty skills: Experience in reading all modalities in General Radiology (preferred in cross sectional anatomy for MR and CT regarding neuro MSK and body imaging, cardiac CT experience)
\ N Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
\ N Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
\ N Excellent communication(written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications:
\ N MD or DO
Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Radiology
\ N Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa/SD
\ N Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physicians field of practice
\ N Eligible to work in theUnited States (H1-B cap exempt)
\ N J-1 waiver sponsorship available
