Locum Tenens Diagnostic Radiologist Opportunity Near Sacramento, CA We are seeking a dedicated Diagnostic Radiologist with Mammography (biopsy) privileges for a locum tenens position near Sacramento, CA. This role is ideal for a radiologist interested in working in an outpatient clinic setting with immediate start dates.
Position Overview: Position : Locum Tenens Diagnostic Radiologist
Location : Near Sacramento, CA
Dates : ASAP - Ongoing
Shift Type : Days
Rate : Competitive hourly rate
Weekend Requirements : None
On Call Requirements : None
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnostic Imaging :Perform and interpret diagnostic studies across all modalities.
Conduct diagnostic mammograms, including breast biopsies.
Required Procedures :Breast biopsies.
Setting :Outpatient clinic with support staff including radiology techs and ultrasound techs.
EMR :Cerner.
Practice Setting: Support Staff :Radiology techs, ultrasound techs, and other support personnel are available to assist.
Reason for Coverage :Position available due to the resignation of a radiologist.
Requirements:
Certifications :ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
DEA registration.
State License :Active California state license required.
Submission Requirements: Board Certification : Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology.
Certifications : Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
Licensure : Must hold an active California state license.
Procedures : Experience with breast biopsies is essential.
