THE OPPORTUNITY The preferred coverage model is 80% IR / 20% general diagnostic radiology, giving you a schedule heavily focused on procedures.
Want to stay completely procedural? The client will also consider 100% IR.
You'll work on-site Monday-Friday from 7:30 AM-4:30 PM EST, with an ongoing coverage need and remote call responsibilities for the 7 main holidays.

Angiography
Kyphoplasty + Vertebroplasty
Port Catheters
CT-Guided Biopsies
Drainages + CT Drains
Ablations
Paracentesis + Thoracentesis
Uterine Fibroid Embolization
CV Catheter Tunneling
Vena Cavagram
Abdominal Aorta Angiography
Chest Tubes
UGI Procedures
Additional Facility-Specific IR Procedures
WHAT YOU'LL NEED MD/DO Physician
Appropriate Radiology Board Status - Board Eligible Within 5 Years
Strong Interventional Radiology Skills
Ability to Perform the Required IR Procedures
Comfortable with General Diagnostic Reads, CT, and MRI if Working the 80/20 Model
Ability to Meet 45 RVUs Per Shift
Fellowship Not Required
Prior Locums Experience Not Required
