JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: L-MD-48204 Profession: Physician Specialty: Vascular & Interventional Radiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Commerce Township, MI 48382 Service Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: ASAP Apr 01, 2027 Shift Schedule: Mon Fri, 7:30a 3:30p Call Type: Beeper Call Response Time: 30 minutes Reason for Coverage: Scheduling Need Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Agency PATIENT INFORMATION Rounding: Both Case Mix: Vascular & Interventional Radiology, Diagnostic Radiology FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Cerner PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: No Temporary Privileges Available: Yes JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC required (Certified) Licenses: Licensed in MI DEA: DEA required Certifications: BLS, ABR certification Other Qualifications: Ability to read diagnostic cases Duties & Responsibilities Perform vascular and non-vascular interventional radiology procedures including embolization, angiograms, thrombolysis, and IVC filter placements/removals. Perform emergency IR procedures such as trauma embolization, nephrostomies, cholecystostomies, and abscess drainages. Read diagnostic radiology cases in between procedures (preferred). Provide coverage at DMC Sinai Grace Hospital or Harper Hospital as assigned. Maintain ABR certification and Michigan medical license.
