JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Vascular & Interventional Radiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Springfield, OH Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: ASAP Ongoing Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri onsite, plus night call Mon-Fri and 24hr call Sat-Sun Call Type: Beeper (Phone Call) Call Ratio: N/A Reason for Coverage: Provider Retiring Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance Covered COVERAGE DATES Aug 05, 2026 () Aug 17, 2026 () Aug 18-21, 2026 () Aug 31, 2026 () Sep 01-02, 2026 () Sep 03, 2026 () Sep 16-18, 2026 () Sep 21, 2026 () PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults Average Daily Volume: 12 Case Mix: Angioplasty, Embolization, Biopsy, Drainage, Ablation, Kyphoplasty FACILITY INFORMATION Trauma Level: N/A EMR System: EPIC PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 30-60 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES Angioplasty, Embolization, Port Catheter Placement, Biopsy, Drainage, Ablation, Kyphoplasty JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified in Vascular & Interventional Radiology Licenses: Ohio license preferred DEA: Active DEA certification Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Board Certified Experience: Minimum 2 years post-residency experience Duties & Responsibilities Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, embolization, port catheter placement, biopsy, drainage, ablation, kyphoplasty. Provide onsite clinical coverage Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. Provide night call coverage Monday through Friday 5:00pm to 8:00am. Provide 24-hour call coverage on weekends. Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR.
