Job Description Unit Name: Radiology M.D. Locums

Facility Considerations: Please inform AC if a facility needs to be built, providing the facility name and a physical address.

If the provider floats between locations with the same credentialing, a float pool may need to be created.

Work Details Specialty: General Radiology (Diagnostic), all onsite

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: Through Fall, possibly longer

Shift Details: Usually a 7 or 8 AM start, ending close to 5 or 6

8-hour shift

Schedule: 3 weeks on, 1 week off

Patient Load Support Staff: Working with 3 other Radiologists

Patients per Day: 120-200 average between 4 docs (X-ray: 65, CT: 55, UST: 15, MRI: 12, NUC: 3)

Reads Seen: On average day

Patient Population/Age: 18+

Department Description: PACS System: AGFA Enterprise; Equipment: All Siemens

EMR: Meditech

Hospital Bed Size: 222, occupying about 100-130

Skills Required: General Radiology (no mammography), Plain film, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine (limited), Thyroid Aspiration, Percutaneous Biopsy

Practice Setting Setting: Hospital

Requirements Board Certification: ABR Certification

State License Required: Yes

Certifications Preferred:

Certifications Required: BLS

Minimum Experience Required: 2 years

Credentialing Timeframe: Temp Priv: 45-60 days (if no lawsuits in background), Full Priv: 95-100 days

Willing to License: No
