Physician – Region 3/n
Location: Chillicothe, OH 45601/n
Schedule: Monday–Friday (No evenings, weekends, or holidays)/n
Hours: 40 hours per week/n
Duration: Minimum 6 months (potential for extension or permanent placement)/n
Position Overview/n
/n
/nWe are seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Physician (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine) with primary care experience to provide on-site medical services within a secure facility setting. This is a full-time opportunity serving an adult population./n
/n
Key Responsibilities/n
/n• Provide comprehensive primary care services in accordance with nationally recognized treatment standards/n
/n• Conduct medical examinations, evaluations, and clinical documentation using an electronic health record (EHR) system/n
/n• Order and interpret diagnostic tests/n
/n• Prescribe and manage medications/n
/n• Make referrals for specialty care as needed/n
/n• Participate in peer reviews and quality improvement initiatives/n
/n• Maintain compliance with applicable state regulations and professional standards/n
/n• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams/n
/nPatient Volume: Up to 2.5 patients per hour/n
/n Required Qualifications/n
/n• Active Ohio Medical License/n
/n• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine/n
/n• Experience in primary care/n
/n• Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR Certification/n
/n• DEA Certification (required prior to start)/n
/n• Master’s Degree (as applicable to medical education requirements)/n
