Job DescriptionAcademic Rheumatology Opening Rochester, MNFull Time | Academic RheumatologySeeking BC/BE Rheumatologist to join a nationally recognized academic Rheumatology practice focused on complex autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.Position Highlights:Approximately 70% clinical effort with opportunities for academic growthPredominantly outpatient practice managing complex, quaternary-level rheumatic diseasesParticipate in specialized clinics including: - Spondyloarthritis - Myositis - Systemic autoimmune diseases (Lupus, Scleroderma, Sjögren's Syndrome)Approximately 3-4 weeks of inpatient consult service annually with limited callCollaborative multidisciplinary care model designed to optimize workflow and reduce administrative burdenOpportunities to participate in practice innovation, digital health, AI initiatives, and quality improvementAcademic Opportunities:Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and rheumatology fellowsParticipate in fellowship education and curriculum developmentOpportunities for clinical research, quality improvement, and scholarly activitySupport for professional development and academic advancementQualifications:MD or DOCompletion of an accredited Rheumatology fellowshipBoard Certified or Board Eligible in RheumatologyEligible for Minnesota medical licensureInterest in complex autoimmune disease, education, and academic medicine preferredCompensation & Benefits:Salary range: $208,000 - $708,168+Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insuranceHSA and FSA optionsCompetitive retirement packageCME allowancePaid malpractice coverageCommunity Highlights:Rochester, MinnesotaExcellent schools and family-friendly communityAffordable cost of livingVibrant arts, dining, and outdoor recreationEasy access to Minneapolis-St. PaulOutstanding quality of life in a nationally recognized medical community
