JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Rheumatology Job Type: Permanent Location: Douglas, WY Service Setting: Outpatient Reason For Coverage: Vacancy Coverage Period: Jan 1, 2027 - Ongoing Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Schedule: TBD - 4 clinic days/week - 1 administrative day/week On-Call Expectations: Telephone call responsibilities as assigned PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults with autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal disorders Average Daily Volume/Census: TBD Consults & Follow-Ups: Yes outpatient consultations, follow-ups, care coordination, and chronic disease management Case Mix/Clinical Focus Areas: Rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, systemic lupus erythematosus, vasculitis, Sjgren's syndrome, scleroderma, gout and crystal arthropathies, osteoarthritis, and osteoporosis FACILITY INFORMATION Beds in Department/Unit: 25-bed hospital Trauma Designation: Level III EMR System: MED (as listed in the source) Specialty Backup: OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Orthopedic/Spine, GI, Neurosurgery, ENT, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, Pain, Bariatrics, and General Surgery Support Staff: Collaborative medical staff of 100+ employed providers; specific rheumatology support staffing not specified REQUIREMENTS Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology Active Wyoming medical license or IMLC eligibility Certifications: BLS required; current DEA registration required Experience: More than 2 years of experience Additional Requirements: - MD or DO; completion of accredited Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship; procedure logs for the last 12 months required; candidates must enter hours in the Vemsta platform; flu and COVID vaccination required unless medically or religiously exempt Visa Sponsorship: J-1 not accepted; other visa sponsorship options not specified COMPENSATION & PERMANENT BENEFITS Competitive Salary Incentive Bonus Structure: Productivity and/or quality incentives, depending on contract structure CME Allowance PTO & Holidays Health & Retirement Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance 401(a) retirement plan and 457(b) retirement plan with employer contribution Professional liability insurance with tail coverage Licensing, credentialing, and professional membership support
