Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Breast Surgeon to join their well-known, existing practice in Savannah, Georgia. Participation in Breast Surgery call (no General Surgery call required) Interest in working with a multidisciplinary breast cancer team including breast imaging, radiation oncology, medical oncology, pathology, plastic surgery, nurse navigation, genetic counseling, and lymphedema therapy Established Breast Surgery Program with 20+ years of history NAPBC- and CoC-accredited breast center 622-bed, regional referral center serving 35 counties across southeast Georgia and southern South Carolina ACS-verified Level I Trauma Center, and Level II Regional Referral Center Level III NICU Children s Hospital Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI Savannah campus of Mercer University School of Medicine Strong General Surgery Residency Program with teaching opportunities NurseOne and 24- hour call center Support services including breast-dedicated imaging, nurse navigation, pathology, genetic counseling, lymphedema therapy, and survivorship EPIC EMR System Incentive/Benefits Package: Competitive compensation Comprehensive, flexible health and benefits package 401k, PTO and CME time/allowance Multidisciplinary tumor boards and strong referral base Robust support staff and dedicated nurse navigator The Community: Savannah, Georgia, is a historic coastal city known for its charming streets, oak-lined squares, and rich Southern heritage.
