Job description
A leading academic healthcare environment in western West Virginia, near the Ohio and Kentucky borders, is seeking a BC/BE Breast Surgeon to join its team as a full-time faculty/attending physician
Position Highlights:
Full-time Breast Surgeon opportunity
Provide breast surgical oncology care as a faculty/attending physician
Participate in the care of patients across affiliated healthcare facilities
Supervise and provide clinical instruction to medical students, residents and fellows
Teaching opportunities in general surgery, breast surgical oncology and related disciplines
Participate in inpatient and outpatient clinical rounds
Present at one or more Medical Grand Rounds annually
Collaborative academic environment with opportunities to contribute to physician education
Qualifications:
MD or professional equivalent medical degree
Completion of a minimum 12-month fellowship in Breast Surgery or Breast Surgical Oncology
Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
Eligible for medical licensure in West Virginia
