Additional Information We are seeking a Board-Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon for an upcoming locum tenens assignment in Kentucky. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-supported cardiac surgery program with dedicated cardiac anesthesia, first assist support, and access to a hybrid operating room. Assignment Highlights Biard Certified 24-hour call coverage (7a-7a) Specific dates: 12/24-1/4/2027 4-7 shifts available per month REquired procedures EPIC EMR Clinical Requirements Adult Cardiac Surgery Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) Valve Repair and Replacement Procedures ICU Management of High-Risk Cardiac Patients Impella Support Experience Structural Heart Procedure Coverage Thoracic surgery experience is a plus but not required Qualifications Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon Active BLS Certification Clean Background History Kentucky License Preferred (providers willing to obtain licensure encouraged to apply) Current Availability Coverage is needed for: December 24-28, 2026 December 28, 2026 through January 4, 2027 Additional Details Approximate credentialing timeframe: 90 days Travel and lodging assistance available About All-StarHealthcare Solutions Benefits Dedicated, specialty-specific consultants Signature Red Carpet Service Help with credentialing and licensing Malpractice coverage included Competitive pay Paid travel and housing Full-service locums and perm staffing NALTO member Purpose-driven mission to improve patient care Note: Additional details such as start date, shift schedule, procedures, and patient load will be provided upon inquiry.
