Seeking a BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a well-respected, busy practice to replace a physician. Employed Position with a Hospital Based Clinic Inpatient / Outpatient Mix Accomplished cardiovascular surgery team and dedicated step down unit to serve recovering patients Anesthesia coverage is provided by third party (Mednax) Hospital base service line at Turkey Creek Medical Center OR is well equipped with 11 Suites, 4 Endo rooms, and 1 Cysto - 2 Heart Rooms Fully competent Heart Team in the OR OR Time is scheduled either block utilization or first come first serve on open times in the OR Research opportunities available Comprehensive Package that may include all of the following: Competitive Salary based on the MGMA guidelines Incentive Bonus based on WRVUs Commencement/Signing bonus Medical Education Debt Assistance Relocation Expenses CME, Licensure, Dues, Subscriptions Vacation, Health, Dental, Vision benefits About the community: Located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and is home to the University of Tennessee, Tennessee Valley Authority, and close to a National Lab and high-tech industry.
